Wind picked up around 3pm but was having motivational issues after a few beers last night. But needed a sail to clear my head after a mega stressful Mon/Tues at work so dragged myself down to the 'ham.

Glad I did. Had a very enjoyable late afternoon 1.5 hrs flat water low tide easy sailing session, perfectly powered all of the time. Nothing particularly exciting and was rusty not sailing well but was just great to get out on the water and be planing easily and comfortably. This was my first proper session powered by my new (2nd hand) Wedge 5.8 and wow what a superb sail! Soooo light and comfortable yet pops you up onto the plane much earlier than to be expected for its size. Very happy with that purchase.

Looks like more of the same tomorrow - hopefully windier. Nicely timed with these 2 days off work I've had booked for a while.
